Thank you for shopping with Silkara Hair. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process and deliver orders, including details on timelines, costs, and customer obligations. We aim to ensure transparency and meet the expectations set out by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Do You Ship Worldwide?
Yes! We proudly ship worldwide. We offer free shipping with tracking on all orders. There are no shipping charges and no sales tax applied to your order.
Order Processing
We begin working on your order immediately after it's placed. As such, we are generally unable to make any changes once the order is confirmed. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped, based on your checkout details.
You will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email once your order has been dispatched.
We only ship on business days (Monday to Friday). We do not process or ship orders on weekends or public holidays.
Processing Times
We typically require between 1–5 business days to prepare and fulfill your order. During high-volume periods (e.g., major holidays), fulfillment may take up to 10 business days, especially if your order includes popular or backordered items.
If your order includes multiple items, they may be shipped separately and arrive on different dates depending on warehouse or supplier locations.
Estimated Delivery Times
Once shipped, estimated delivery times:
- Australia: 5–14 business days
Note: These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to postal network disruptions, customs clearance, weather conditions, labour strikes, protests, or force majeure.
Delays and Your Rights
If you do not receive your order within 30 days of dispatch, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.

Customs, Duties, and Import Fees
International orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, or customs clearance fees once the shipment reaches your country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
We have no control over these fees and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary by country, so please consult your local customs authority before placing an international order.
If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid customs duties, the buyer will be responsible for all return shipping and import-related charges incurred.
Wrong Address Disclaimer
Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing an order. We begin fulfillment quickly, and changes may not be possible once the order is submitted.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer may be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order.
Tracking and Delivery
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this to follow the shipment until delivery.
If tracking information does not update within 7 business days of dispatch, or you suspect an issue, please contact us and we will assist with locating or resending your order.
Split Shipments
If your order includes multiple items, they may be shipped from different warehouses. You may receive multiple tracking numbers, and your items may arrive on different days.
